The Renaissance Women magazine is a bi-monthly trade entertainment publication geared towards women who are pursuing or working careers in the television, music or the film industries. Our Mission is to motivate, inform, educate, entertain and provide the necessary “stepping stones” on their road to success in these industries.
The following are freelance assignments that we need to fill:
Hollywood or Bust! A mini-guide to relocating to Hollywood on a budget,where to live, work, eat and hang.
(where to live, where to eat, where to hang/lounge/party, where to work, where to laugh, what to do, what to join, where to shop, where to learn, where to workout) MUST ALSO SECURE AS MANY PHOTOS AS YOU CAN OF THINGS MENTIONED. OR AT LEAST ONE THING IN EACH CATEGORY. min. 4 page spread, will be a pull out. List 2 to 3 things in each area or more if ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. TIPS ON MOVING ARE REALLY IMPORTANT. (Some topics we are currently seeking stories about are the following: trends in Latina Music, Reality shows, One Woman Shows, Plastic Surgery, Myths on Movie Star Legends (perferably women).
Motivation Madness – Great motivational articles that will remind you why you are dedicated to your passion. Currently, seeking an articles and one on the topic “Celebrate the small successes”
Made
Spotlight of women doing their thing in careers in television, film and music. Interviews of women making moves in the entertainment industry. Currently seeking someone to do over the phone or in person INTERVIEWS.
Untapped
Undiscovered raw and unearthed talented women. ANY IDEAS?
Beauty Vice- seeking beauty writer for everything beauty. 500
words/photos
Requirements:
Articles should include 800 (miniumum)-1200 words (maximum. (No longer than two pages, unless absolutely necessary. Example Topic: The state of women in music, steps on starting your own modeling agency.)
Articles should be typed. Articles should be submitted through email. If your submission is accepted for publication we will forward release forms for the rights to print your works and when we receive your paperwork back, then we will forward your compensation. The pay is $10 per article. MYTHS & POLITICS is $20 per article.
